Business Leaders Robert E. Hill, Jr., and Richard L. Sisisky Join Baptist Health Board of Directors

Jacksonville, Florida, April 12, 2007 -- Baptist Health is pleased to announce that Robert E. Hill, Jr., and Richard L. Sisisky have been elected to Baptist Health's Board of Directors.

On the Baptist Medical Center Downtown Board of Directors since July 2006, Hill is president and chief operating officer for Acosta Sales and Marketing Company, a Jacksonville-based firm providing merchandising and retail services for major consumer packaged goods companies across North America. With 11,000 employees in more than 70 locations across the United States and Canada, Acosta represents more than 1,300 consumer packaged goods companies, including Nestle, McCormick, Heinz, ConAgra, Colgate, Clorox, Campbell's and Sara Lee. Hill joined the company in 1994 as a general manager. Before being named president and COO, he served as president of operations from 2004-2007. He is a member of Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church, where he is as a deacon and youth leader.

Sisisky, a member of the Baptist Medical Center Downtown Board of Directors since 2002, is president of The Shircliff & Sisisky Company, a Jacksonville-based management consulting company. Prior to his current position, Sisisky served as president and chief operating officer of ParkerVision, Inc., a local high technology company, from 1998-2003. Previously, he served as managing director of The Shircliff Group, Inc. from 1988-1998. Sisisky is active in the community, serving as founding chairman of the Jacksonville Children's Commission, on the Board of Governors of the National Conference for Community & Justice (NCCJ), as past president of the Jacksonville Jewish Federation, as president-elect of the Jacksonville Jewish Foundation, and as a member of the Board of Directors of Stein Mart, Inc. He received a Humanitarian Award from the NCCJ in 1999.
