Volunteers Needed at Baptist Downtown, Baptist South

Jacksonville, Florida, August 2, 2007 -- Volunteers are needed at Baptist Medical Center Downtown and Baptist Medical South, particularly in patient care areas, the Gift Shop, family assistance, information desks and office support. However, services are available in every area of interest.

Volunteers play a vital role by working alongside hospital staff to provide the best possible care for patients and their families. Volunteers must be 18 years and older and should be available to volunteer three or four hours each week.
