New Building Cause for Celebration

Jacksonville, Florida, December 10, 2007 -- Crowds of enthusiastic supporters applauded the groundbreaking for a new $24 million inpatient facility at Baptist Medical Center Nassau, which will feature all-private rooms. Bright, sunny skies cast an extra glow on the December 5 procedings.

The spacious, two-story, 44,000 square foot building will provide private suites to improve patient comfort and privacy while enhancing safety and efficiency. The hospital will have the same number of beds (54), but four more will be allocated for intensive care.
