The Women's Board of Wolfson Children's Hospital Announces Largest Gift Ever
Funds Benefit Children's Surgical Services and Emergency Care

Jacksonville, Florida, June 3, 2008 -- The Women's Board of Wolfson Children's Hospital (Wolfson) has announced its largest gift ever of $2,008,218.98 to Wolfson's Surgical Services and the Children's Emergency Center. The gift is comprised of proceeds from the 2007 Art & Antiques Show, 2007-2008 Florida Forum and Special Women's Board gifts.

The 31st annual Art & Antiques Show, which is recognized as one of the premier antiques and decorative arts show in the country, raised a total of $974,841.82. This season's Florida Forum, Jacksonville's annual speaker series for more than 15 years, featured high-profile personalities that included Sir Richard Branson, Anderson Cooper, P.J. O'Rourke and Tiki Barber and raised $670,049.22.

Along with the events, the Special Women's Board gifts totaled $363,327.94 to reach the record-breaking amount. The Women's Board total gift is dedicated in memory of the courage, selflessness and exceptional inner beauty Donna M. Hall, 2004 and 2005 president of The Women's Board.

The Women's Board of Wolfson Children's Hospital was founded in 1973 to increase community awareness of the hospital and raise funds for the continued improvement of its services. The 369 members of The Women's Board have raised more than $18.5 million for Wolfson to ensure that pediatric health care in our region can respond to rapidly changing advances and technology.
