Baptist Nassau MRI Accredited

Fernandina Beach, Florida, June 6, 2008 -- The American College of Radiology (ACR) has awarded Baptist Nassau's Imaging Department three-year accreditation for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), it was announced recently by Imaging Department Director Jerrie Moore.

Accreditation is awarded following an in-depth review of facilities, equipment and staff qualifications by an ACR panel consisting of board certified physicians and medical physicists.

"We are very pleased to receive this recognition for the quality of our MRI service," says Moore. ACR is a national organization that focuses on medical imaging, radiation oncology and the delivery of comprehensive health care services.
