Maternity Services

Baptist Beaches is the perfect place to welcome your new baby. Our Maternity Services feature expansive patient suites designed to allow expectant mothers to go through the labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum process in a single room. The comfortably furnished rooms feature all of the technical equipment required for monitoring and delivery and feature special amenities, such as sofas and rocking chairs, a television and VCR, and a private bath. The unit's family-centered care philosophy features minimal restrictions for visitors and flexible rooming-in policies.

Breast Health Services

Mammograms save lives, and with digital mammography, they're faster and more accurate, too. Baptist Beaches offers digital mammography, which means our Imaging Center in the Wilson/Epstein Diagnostic and Rehabilitative Center is among the most advanced in Florida. Mammograms done here are reported electronically, offering big advantages. It's faster because there's no film to develop, no waiting to assure that the images are clear, and fewer repeats. It's more accurate because brightness, contrast and magnification can be adjusted to clarify suspicious areas. Images can be viewed by your health team online or on a CD. Women's Resource Library

Looking for answers to your health-related questions? Having a baby and want to learn more about what to expect? The Baptist Health Women's Resource Library offers many programs to help women prepare for parenthood and to support women dealing with specific women's health issues.
