Our Radiology/Medical Imaging Department is staffed 24 hours a day by experienced, accredited personnel. We offer the latest state-of-the-art equipment and diagnostic services available including:
- Digital Radiography
- Fluoroscopy
- Spiral 16-and 64-Channel CT scanner (Computed Tomography)
- Mammography (Breast imaging)
- Nuclear Medicine (including cardiac nuclear studies)
- Ultrasound and vascular ultrasound studies
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- PET/CT scanner (Positron Emission Tomography and Computed Tomography)
Our highly trained staff consists exclusively of Board-certified Radiologists and Registered Radiologic Technologists. Additionally, our staff of professionals is committed to obtaining certifications in their specialty areas: CT, Mammography, MRI, Ultrasound and Vascular Ultrasound.
Minimally Invasive Procedures
Using interventional radiology equipment and techniques, our physicians are performing minimally invasive surgery procedures in our special procedures suite. Minimally invasive surgical procedures promote reduced scarring, reduction in days spent in the hospital, and significantly shortened recovery periods.

) Accreditation
Beaches has been awarded
ACR Accreditation
in MRI, Ultrasound and both of the CT Scanners.
The ACR Accreditation is granted for documentation and demonstration of practice excellence. We voluntarily submitted the applications because we were confident that we would meet the high standards set forth by the American College of Radiology (ACR):
- Education and certification of our physicians and staff to insure a high degree of competency
- Quality of equipment is clinically appropriate and well-maintained for the performed examinations
- The facility meets or exceeds quality assurance and safety guidelines
