Our Surgery Center

Equipped with the latest high-definition surgical technology for optimum precision, the Baptist Beaches Surgery Center is staffed with highly skilled surgeons and Baptist Medical Center Beaches' experienced surgical professionals, who include registered nurses, certified surgical technicians and other specially trained staff.

Before Your Procedure

For your convenience, our Patient Access Services (PAS) staff is committed to making your pre-procedure experience efficient and as quick as possible. Patients pre-register at the Baptist Beaches Surgery Center where our PAS staff will collect your insurance information. If you require pre-operative testing, a nurse will perform physician-ordered lab work and other testing as well as review information with you about your procedure.

Why Outpatient Surgery?

As part of our commitment to your comfort and convenience, we perform the majority of our outpatient surgeries with a minimally invasive approach. Benefits of this include less pain, less scarring and a quicker recovery. The majority of our patients return home the same day as surgery.

Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery Our otolaryngologists, who are ear, nose and throat specialists, perform sinus surgery, thyroid removal and other procedures in our Surgery Center.

Women's Surgery Our gynecologists perform minimally invasive laproscopic procedures, as well as surgical options for endometriosis, fibroids and urinary incontinence.
