A state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Jacksonville, Baptist Heart Hospital brings patients, families, clinicians and researchers together to prevent and fight heart disease with the best programs, physicians, staff and technology available. Baptist Downtown, along with Baptist Medical Center Beaches, Baptist Medical Center Nassau and Baptist Medical Center South, is accredited as a Chest Pain Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers, a non-profit international society that bridges cardiology, emergency medicine and other professions focused upon improving care for patients with acute coronary syndromes and acute heart failure. Baptist Downtown is further accredited in percutanous coronary intervention (PCI), which includes stent procedures and balloon angioplasty.

Access

A parking garage adjacent to Baptist Heart Hospital provides easy access to the emergency services (Adult and Wolfson Children's Hospital Emergency Centers) on the first floor and all other services via the second floor entrance. Patients and visitors can enter Parking Garage B from Prudential Drive across the street from the main entrance of Baptist Medical Center Downtown.

A connecting hallway on the first floor of the Heart Hospital (see map) provides access to the Emergency Center and the main hospital. This thoroughfare can be used to visit the cafeteria, gift shop, Baptist Pharmacy, medical office buildings (Howard and Pavilion), and Wolfson Children's Hospital.
