A tradition of serving the community
HistoryThanks to a growth spurt that occurred in Fernandina in the late 1930s, a full-service hospital opened in Fernandina in 1942. The hospital, like the community, has made great strides since then. In the late 1970s, it moved to its current location at Lime Street and South 18th Street. In 1994, it joined Baptist Health, a not-for-profit, comprehensive health system based in Jacksonville that is considered one of the most progressive and respected in the region. |
