Parking

Complimentary parking is available in front of the hospital and medical office building as well as outside the Emergency Department entrance. A shuttle service is available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays to aid those who would like additional help to and from the buildings. Due to safety concerns, the shuttle does not operate during inclement weather.

Newspapers

Local newspaper stands are available between the Scott & Paryani Medical Office Building and the hospital, across from the outpatient registration desk and in the Emergency Department waiting area.

Gift Shop

The gift shop carries snacks, gift items, flowers, magazines, balloons and toiletries and is located near the main entrance.

Oasis Café

Our café is located on the first floor and is open for meal service at the following times:

Monday - Friday Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. Lunch: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Dinner: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Holiday hours may vary.

Saturday - Sunday Breakfast: 8:30 - 10 a.m. Lunch: 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Dinner: closed Holiday hours may vary.

Snacks are also available in the Gift Shop (located in the main lobby), in the Baptist Pharmacy located on the first floor of the Scott & Paryani Building, and through vending machines located on each floor.

Public Internet Access

Personal computer (PC) workstations for patient and visitor use are strategically placed throughout the facility. The Library, located on the first floor of Baptist South, provides access to personal computers for patient and visitor use during normal business hours. Personal computer workstations are also available in the Resource Centers, located adjacent to each nursing station on the third, fourth and fifth floors.

Network jacks that allow personal notebook (laptops) to be plugged in are located in patient rooms (a network jack is located under the desk), family retreat areas located on the third through fifth floors, and in the Library.

At the start of each Internet session, users will be asked to read and accept the terms of use. Internet access at Baptist South is provided to patients, their families, and visitors at no charge. We ask only that users practice good "netiquette," and remain considerate to others at all times (e.g., limiting online time if others are waiting, wearing headphones for audio, etc.)
