The golf tournament is supported by "host" physicians, community leaders and sponsors and has raised $1.6 million since its inception. Usually held: December 31, 2009 The race starts from Jacksonville Landing, with registration starting at 11 am, and racing at 1:30 pm. They created this tournament with the goal of making it the largest in the state raising money for kids. The tournament beneficiary, Wolfson Children's Hospital, provides specialty care for sick and injured infants and children. The goal of Patrons of the HeARTS is to create an endowment fund to provide financial support for evaluation and treatment of these children, including open heart surgery, at Wolfson Children's Hospital (Wolfson), giving them the hope of a normal life. Artscapade is an annual event that raises funds for the Patrons endowment. Locally, CMN generates funds and awareness for the pediatric programs at Shands Jacksonville and Wolfson Children's Hospital. One hundred percent of the money raised in the Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia area stays here to help all children regardless of their illness or their family's ability to pay.
