Augspurger joined the Baptist Medical Center
Downtown medical staff as a radiation
oncologist in 2003. Prior to this, he served as
chief of Radiation Oncology at Keesler Medical
Center. He is a member of the American
Society for Therapeutic Radiology and
Oncology, as well as the American College of
Radiology.
Augspurger is also a member of the
American Cancer Society, as well as the Florida
Radiation Oncology Group. His areas of
interest include malignancies of the head and
neck region, along with the central nervous
system. He has lectured and published articles
on treatment of malignancies in these systems.
