Schoeppel is a radiation oncologist who is board-certified in therapeutic radiology. She has been an assistant professor of Oncology at Mayo Medical School since 1992, and served as an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor before coming to Jacksonville.
She is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, as well as the American College of Radiology, American Brachytherapy Society and American Association of Women Radiologists. She has been named among
The Best Doctors in America: The Southeast Region every year from 1996 to 2006. Her special interests include breast and gynecologic malignancies, as well as stereotactic radiosurgery.
