Terk is a partner in the Florida Radiation
Oncology Group and board certified in
radiation oncology. He has extensive
experience treating brain tumors with
radiosurgery, studying at both Mount Sinai
Medical Center and Columbia University in
New York City. In addition, Terk is a well-recognized
expert in
brachytherapy, or
radioactive implants for the treatment of
cancer. He is widely published in the field of
oncology and has lectured extensively in the
United States, Europe and Asia.
Terk is a member
of the Duval County Medical Society, New
York Roentgen Society and the American
Society for Therapeutic Radiology and
Oncology. He has held several positions with
the local division of the American Cancer
Society. Terk is very interested in the treatment
of both adult and pediatric brain tumors, as well
as the use of Gamma Knife in the treatment of
many benign conditions.
