Joseph Czerkawski, MD, Medical Director

Dr. Czerkawski is a board-certified internal medicine physician who has received Certification of Additional Qualifications (CAQ) in sports medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at New York Medical College and Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine, along with a fellowship in sports medicine at Marshall University He has been practicing internal, occupational and sports medicine for Baptist for more than 15 years and serves as medical director for Baptist Occupational Health and Baptist Urgent Care. Dr. Czerkawski also provides medical director services for many employers and oversees our
Baptist@Work programs. He has been the University of North Florida head team physician since 1993.
Allison Bartfield, MD
Allison Bartfield, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with a special interest in women's health. She received her medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she also completed her internal medicine residency. While serving on the College of Medicine faculty as a clinical assistant professor, Dr. Bartfield founded a hospitalist program for the University of Florida. She then went on to work with Kaiser Permanente's Hospitalist Program in Roseville, California, and Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland. Dr. Bartfield is also lead hospitalist at Baptist Medical Center Beaches; prior to that, she worked for four years as a hospitalist with Baptist Medical Center Downtown and Baptist Medical Center South.
