The outpatient division of Baptist Behavioral Health

We provide corporate training and development, outpatient mental health services, and Employee Assistance Programs. We are comprised of licensed Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists and Mental Health Counselors. We are able to provide a full range of training and counseling services. We are proud to have served Northeast Florida with excellent mental health care since 1976.

Clinical Services
We recognize there are many personal, emotional and organizational pressures that complicate home and work. We also know from experience that no single clinician can be an expert in dealing with all of these concerns. At Psychiatric and Psychological Care, we will assist you in selecting a clinician with the expertise to meet your particular needs. Your clinician will conduct a thorough evaluation and establish a personalized treatment plan.

Our Team Approach
For years our clinicians have worked together with area physicians to form a "treatment team" dedicated to providing you the most effective possible care. When appropriate, we work closely with your Family Practice doctor, OB/GYN, and/or other healthcare provider(s). This holistic approach has been shown to increase the effectiveness of your treatment.

Our clinical staff wants you to benefit from the close relationships between our Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists and Mental Health Counselors. Your treatment is based on the effective collaboration of all these parties. This helps insure you are receiving the most effective and

When you schedule your first appointment, the Patient Services Coordinator will help you select a Psychiatrist and/or therapist with expertise in one of these areas. All services are strictly confidential.

Emergency Services
We understand there are times when emergency services are needed. Behavioral Care Management, a unit of Baptist Behavioral Health, provides 24-hour emergency access. If you call 904.376.3800 after regular hours, you will be given prompt assistance over the telephone. If needed, an immediate evaluation can be arranged.
