Vestibular and Balance Program

Falls.... Can you do something about them?

Most individuals that sustain falls have had problems with instability, unsteadiness, walking problems, dizziness, or vertigo. These problems became progressively worse prior to the fall. Many falls result in fractures of the hip, vertebra, ribs or wrists. Balance problems and unsteadiness can also lead to social isolation, decreased independence, and depression.

The following questions will help you determine if you are at risk of falling.
