Cardiac rehabilitation (rehab) is a program designed to help patients recover from heart related problems. Our program is designed to concentrate on increasing your personal strength and endurance through EKG-monitored exercise training session. Who can benefit from Cardiac Rehab?
Individuals who have had an acute episode of stable angina (chest pain), heart attack, open heart surgery, angioplasty (PTCA) or stent, congestive heart failure, and cardiomyopathy.

When can I Start Cardiac Rehab?
Depending on your recovery, cardiac rehab can start 3-4 weeks after open heart surgery, 2-4 weeks after a heart attack or stent, and 1 week after an angioplasty or cardiac catheterization.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Pulmonary Rehabilitation is a program designed to help patients with chronic pulmonary disease. Our program consists of monitored exercise training and education to help improve your quality of life and physical conditioning. We also strive to decrease respiratory symptoms and hospitalizations.

What is Required to Enter the Program?

A signed referral from your physician and authorization from your insurance company. The Rehab staff can assist you with obtaining the referral and authorization.
