Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Physical Therapist to join our Adult Acute Care Rehab Team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a part-time opportunity at our Baptist South Campus.

We are looking to hire an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team. This part-time position will work with an adult caseload at our acute care clinic working day shifts between the hours of 9:00am-5:30pm with weekend coverage as needed. Holiday rotation required. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent experience in acute care orthopedics.

Physical Therapist, Adult Acute Care Rehab, Job Responsibilities: 

• Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer physical therapy treatment to patients. 
• Provide patient care to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury or disease. 
• Oversee support staff. 
• Participate in departmental operations and performance improvement activities. 
• Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines. 
• Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements.

• Experience with Surgical Patient Care
• Orthopedics
• Experience in Neuro
• 1 year Experience working in an Acute Care setting

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Physical Therapist Required
