Baptist Health Visitor Policy

To ensure the safety of patients and visitors, all minors (under 18) and special needs adults must be accompanied by an adult caregiver (who is not the patient) at all times.

Hospitals:

• Up to 4 visitors in a room at a time during visitation hours (5 am to 9 pm)
• Up to 2 visitors age 18+ may be permitted to stay overnight. Please check with nursing team make arrangements for overnight visitors.

Adult ICUs:

• All visitors must be age 12+
• The unit may need to limit the number of people in rooms based on space requirements

Behavioral Health - Adult (Riverfront):

• One visitor at a time from 4:30 - 6:30 pm, 7 days a week

Behavioral Health - Pediatric:

• One visitor is permitted from 4:30 - 6:30 pm on alternating days as assigned by the unit

Labor & Delivery:

• Up to 4 visitors in a room at a time during visitation hours (5 am to 9 pm)
• One support person age 18+ may stay overnight unless the patient is in is in active labor
• No children under age 12 unless they are a sibling of the newborn

Primary and specialty physician offices, imaging, lab services, testing, rehab, etc.:

• Visitation is open
• The office may limit the number of people in exam rooms

Visitation is open. If a patient is admitted following surgery, the inpatient policy will apply.

All visitors must be ages 18+

• Up to 2 visitors age 18+ may be permitted to stay overnight (9 pm to 5am). Please check with nursing team make arrangements for overnight visitors.

• Adult: One visitor at a time
• Pediatric: One visitor at all times

Visitors age 16+ is recommended but accommodations can be arranged on a case-by-case basis with nursing staff.
